In one of our most difficult but rewarding cases, we assisted a client who rear-ended a delivery truck on Route 2 in Lexington. Almost always, the person who hits another vehicle from behind is the at-fault party.

In this case, through diligent investigation during the litigation process, we were able to prove that the truck driver was late for his next delivery and was lost. We proved that upon realizing he was traveling in the wrong direction (and not wishing to travel several more miles in the wrong direction) he abruptly applied his brakes in order to take an illegal U-turn.

Our client had insufficient time to avoid the truck or take evasive action and slammed into the rear of the truck. To say the case was hotly contested would be an understatement.
